Did you know that food blogging is hard hard hard? You need good lighting, props, and a myriad of other things that just aren’t in my wheelhouse/I can’t be arsed to do, and this is why I don’t often write about food anymore.
That being said one of my main goals with this blog is to help people see just how easy it can be to eat healthy and get creative in the kitchen… even if you’re a hot mess!

Spicy Spiralized Sweet Potatoes
Anyways, today we are going to be talking about these tasty AF spicy sweet potato spirals. Now, before we dig in I am going to have to specify that you want the orange fleshed sweet potatoes for these. None of that pasty-ass beige tuber nonsense. What you’re looking for is something more like a yam. In fact, it may be labeled as a yam, even though apparently that might be bullshit.
These are extremely tasty and work great as a side dish or a snack.
When I make them alone, I usually mix 1 cup of plain Greek Yogurt with 1-2 tbsps of my Ranch Mix for dipping.
For spiralizing, I use the Paderno Wold Cuisine 3 Blade Spiralizer.
I got this thing for Christmas and it’s legitimately amazing.
This, and my Soda Stream are definitely on my kitchen faves list. If I ever get invited to a fancy party and I get a plus one, I will throw a tux on this thing and we will dance the night away.
Sorry darling husband, but can you drop kick a root vegetable into a smooth spiral? I THINK NOT.
